Abstract
We invite our esteemed Young CASS members who are currently pursuing their Ph.D. studies to seize a remarkable opportunity - the IEEE ISCAS Pre-doctoral Grant. This grant is a recognition of your outstanding academic achievements and dedication to the IEEE community. As part of our commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders in Circuits and Systems, we are pleased to announce the launch of an exciting event: an oral and poster session, hosted by IEEE CASS, exclusively for Ph.D. students.
This event, designed as a hybrid gathering, aims to provide a dynamic platform for Ph.D. students to showcase and discuss their dissertation research with a diverse community of peers, mentors, and industry professionals. Our vision is to establish this session as one of the premier forums where emerging scholars can receive invaluable feedback on their ongoing research projects while also allowing the industry to witness the remarkable academic work in progress within our community.
Participation in this forum is highly competitive, with an acceptance rate that speaks to the exceptional quality of contributions we anticipate. We are aware of the financial challenges that students may face, and we are committed to supporting those who require assistance for travel expenses. Limited funds will be available to ensure that every deserving participant has the opportunity to join us.
Rationale
This forum is open to all members of the IEEE CASS community, and we are thrilled to announce that it is entirely free of charge. It is our belief that by fostering an inclusive environment, we can create a unique space for collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing that benefits all.
Moreover, we strategically chose to co-locate this event with IEEE ISCAS, one of the largest and most prestigious conferences in our field. This decision allows us to attract a wide audience from the CASS community while ensuring that participation in the session does not require registration for the larger conference. We are excited about the synergies and opportunities for engagement that this collaboration will bring.
In conclusion, we encourage all eligible Young CASS members pursuing their Ph.D. studies to apply for the IEEE ISCAS Pre-doctoral Grant. We look forward to receiving your applications and to welcoming you to our forum where your research will take center stage. Together, let us shape the future of Circuits and Systems and inspire excellence in our community.
