Information:
The CASS mentoring program, debuting at ISCAS2024, is a pioneering initiative of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) that fosters mentoring relationships both in-person and online through the IEEE Collabratec platform. This program is designed to offer support and guidance in critical areas such as career advancement, educational development, leadership, and volunteering.
Kicking off with an in-person session at ISCAS2024, the program will continue to engage participants on the IEEE Collabratec platform, facilitating ongoing interaction and guidance. We have enlisted a group of distinguished academics and industry professionals as mentors to provide valuable insights into research methodologies and career strategies.
This mentoring program will be integrated into our IEEE CAS flagship conferences. We strongly encourage our student members to strive for excellence in their research and submit high-quality papers. Outstanding submissions will increase your eligibility to be shortlisted for this pilot program, providing an exceptional opportunity to receive mentorship and develop professional networks.
Additionally, we are seeking active volunteers to help coordinate both the onsite and online components of the mentoring program. Volunteers will play a crucial role in shaping the success of this initiative, benefiting from unique leadership and networking opportunities within the IEEE community.
We are excited about the potential of the CASS mentoring program to significantly enhance the professional and personal development of our members and look forward to its expansion across more chapters in the future.
